Wow I didn't know a lot of these celebs had passed away... it is very alarming how many died due to complications from HIV/AIDS. Wrap-It-Up people that's all I gotta say...
I did know Dinno Connor (of H-Town fame) had passed away though. The music community of Houston embraced that family when that happened so tragically. They played H-Town songs all day long on the radio that day in tribute and fellow musicians/singers/songwriters/producers from all over the country called in and shared their stories in memory of him. If you were in and around Houston around that time you knew about his passing.
Many African-American celebs don't get the recognition though in life, so it's not all that surprising that they don't get it in death either.
