GammaZeta, there is a place at the top of the the posting area that you can check out. If you want to keep updated on certain Threads you can sign up for them. You will then be notified.
Unfortunately as a Mod, I get added and then have to go delete some so I will not get notified as they are not important to me!
Try this and see if it works. If not, let me know and I will try to figure out where to go from there.
