I don't think I want to live in a state where I can be coming out the mall on any given Saturday and folk busting caps in other folks. This can happen even in supposedly safe neighborhoods if you allow everyone to carry guns.
I say, crack down on the criminals but don't have random people walking around with firearms. Next thing you know, old people will be trying to shoot, people who have no real training will be trying to shoot, etc. That's even more dangerous, I think - to random innocent bystanders who might get shot by flying bu
