So, I am feeling a little down and out. Having no money to my name until I start work in a week at a new job in Chicago, when I get a phone call today.
The woman on the phone says "Hi, I am calling from the Post-Dispatch (where I interned last spring) and we have two paychecks of yours that we located in the newsroom. Can you come by and pick them up?"
I was there in 25 minutes. It's 19 miles exactly from my house.
Ohh, I am so excited. Rhonda is not broke anymore, and she can pay bills and have a little money for some fun this weekend with friends.
