Okay, I need some help/input. Next month, I am participating in a Peppermint Pageant with another chapter.
I am to do story time for 2-6 year olds and Sorors will dress as characters to act out the stories. I know many of the popular stories, fairy tales, etc. From those who have kids this age group/know kids in this age group, what are some good stories that they enjoy that I could do at story time? I have Rudyard Kipling's
Just So Stories here at home and some anthologies as well as a Curious George book but I think it would be cool to have new ideas that I don't know about.
So bring it!
List titles/authors and if you know of ones with a multicultural angle, that would be even better. I plan to spend some quality time at the library this week but if I can go in with a list in mind, that will be great. I need to let the Sorors know so that they can get their costumes.
