ZTAngel-
It is my understanding from the ZTA website that the Eta Chapter at MBC closed not because the school did not allow greeks, but because it was not a 4 yr school at the time. In fact, the school had 2 other sorrorites on-campus for several years after our chapter closed...

"Although a difficult decision, the ZTA 1906 Convention went through the necessary formalities of charter revocation of the chapters that did not meet the requirements of the Intersorority Convention. Thus, our birthplace, Alpha Chapter, became dormant for 43 years. (It was later re-opened when Longwood University became an accredited four-year institution.) Also lost was Eta Chapter at Mary Baldwin College.
With the closure of Alpha and Eta Chapters, ZTA was able to meet the Conference's eligibility requirements. Admission was granted at the next NPC biennial meeting."
hope i helped !
