Just like some orgs are coed fraternities (ie APhiO, KKPsi), others are coed sororities (ie OPhiA, GSS, TBS). When men join these sororities (more common in some orgs than others), they are referred to as sorors or sisters, just as a female member of APhiO is called a brother.
