The son of Growing Pains TV dad Alan Thicke and soap actress and singer Gloria Loring, Thicke has been creating his distinct brand of slick neo-soul for years, penning tracks for the likes of Usher, Christina Aguilera, Mya, Brandy, Marc Anthony and others.
I also heard an interview with him where he said he wrote a song for Michael Jackson years ago.
