How about a mini-fundraiser, like a bake sale? We did these all the time... make up several batches of cookies, brownies, rice krispy treats, etc, then get a booth at a central location on campus and sell them. Everyone's hungry between classes
Hey, make the baking session into a rush activity! Grab your core group and ask each of them to invite 1 or 2 women. Make up the mixes - you can chat with them while you're mixing stuff and while it's baking.
Plus, the bake sale will give you some visibility on campus - wear your new t-shirts while working booth.
