It depends on the guy. If your buddy is in strong standing and looked up upon, then of course he has a lot of pull.
In my day, it only took one person to say "no" to end a pledges chances of getting into our fraternity. So, it also depends on that.... But, as long as you don't have any mortal enemies in the house I think it's safe to say your probably going to be in buddy
