I've heard some of the content exams are hellacious. My major was PE so that wasn't bad, but I'm looking to take the Biology content one this spring as well and that one has me nervous.

You're getting a certifcation in Texas by PRAXIS scores? Is there some sort of petition you have to do? I'll be certified in SD once I take the PLT, but I want to be able to move back to Texas if there are better job opportunities. What all is going into your 'Plan B'?

No you don't need Praxis to get cetified here in Texas. You only need to take the Thea (which is just like the Praxis test wise) I'm in the process of applying to iteachtexas. It's an alternative certification program that is entirely online (except the internship/student teaching part) I'm also applying to graduate schools in different states. Having Praxis scores is a part of many program requirements. I'm just getting a head start.
