NEVER, EVER even think about wearing sweatpants to any kind of recruitment event. I personally would be insulted if I was talking to a rushee who dressed like that. It is basically sending a message saying "I could care less what I look like." During my informal, I always wore jeans, a nice sweater, and heels (in the form of either dress shoes or casual suede boots). Like the girls above me have said, it is better to overdress than underdress. You'll feel better about yourself too!
