I'm sorry that you are so frustrated, Corina. I suggest that you read "Seven Steps of Highly Effective People" by Covey. It helps you get organized if you apply the steps.
You and your new sisters can decide what you want from your sorority in terms of rush, dues, and initiation. I still suggest that you begin to function as a sorority even if you don't have rush. You can have weekly meetings for sorority business and weekly sisterhood events like lock ins, ice cream socials, movie nights, lunches, and dinners. When you get into a routine you can move on to other things like parties or mixers, philanthropy or charity events, and, of course, recruitment. I suggest that you and the other core founders brainstorm about what you want from your sorority, prioritize, and set a plan in motion. You can be up and running in a few weeks!
