I think it's better for someone to be honest than to do something, like, encouraging someone to suicide. Then, when they don't get in and decline snap bids, have to wait another year and try again. Not everyone has the luxury of doing this. Neither do they have mothers or friends' moms to help them through the process. So, get off your high horse. They were trying to keep this girl from being crushed at an SEC school.
Besides, I would say that someone who is interested in rushing should be adult enough to research greek life a bit before going to college or rushing. MMMMkay?
