I originally saw that email about 5 years ago.. referring to Michigan rather than Denver. Here, they do plow the side streets and put salt on the road. (Except this year, so far, since it's all been rain!)
51 degrees in Michigan today. January 12th. Unbelievable. My daughter's birthday is Sunday. On the day she was born, it was -14 before the windchill factor and something like -60 with windchill. I like El Nino, yes I do.
