Freshman Focus
Today is a fantastically terrific day! I held my book in my hands for the first time ever. I held it not as a Word document, but as a full fledged book. Over the past month, I have seen the book and book cover as JPG files and PDF but today I held it in my hands.
With that said, the book is really available! After many delays, including two blizzards in Colorado, the book is ready to be read by you, your friends, and your family.
If you are interested in purchasing the book directly from me and have the book autographed, you can purchase it from my site via PayPal secure payment. You do not have to be registered with PayPal to purchase the book. Presently, I am waiting on the publishing company to ship the copies of the book to me so that they can be shipped to you.
If you are interested in purchasing the book from Amazon or Barnes & Noble, I have provided the direct links:

I will be participating in the Black Family Literacy Day program at the Warrensville Heights Public Library on Saturday, February 3, 2007. This is tremendous for me because I am a product of the Warrensville Heights School system as well as this library! The program begins at 8:00 AM but the teenage portion that I will be a part of begins at 3:00PM. I hope to see you there in the audience. Bring your family to celebrate literacy!
I have also been invited to be a part of the Expressions of Blackness program on Saturday, February 17, 2007, at the East 131st St Branch of the Cleveland Public Library in Cleveland, Ohio. The program begins at 2:00 PM and is scheduled to last an hour to an hour and a half. I hope to see you there if you are in the area.
