Kansas State - Lost, #16 Rutgers
--- The Big East's weak Bowl lineup led to a HUGE discrepancy in this game. K-State never had a chance as soon as the match up was announced.
Missouri - Lost, #24 Oregon State
--- Don't know enough about this one to say anything.
Nebraska - Lost, #10 Auburn
--- Nebraska dominated this game in most aspects, however, a early risky play led to a short-field turnover for Auburn which ended up winning the game.
Oklahoma - Lost, #9 Boise State
--- BSU had something to prove in this game. No excuse for OU, but they were clearly more talented, just BSU wanted it more.
Oklahoma State - Won, Alabama
--- This was a pretty good bowl game OSU ended up winning on a field goal.
Texas - Won, Iowa
--- Struggled early but ended up finding a way to win, just as a team with their talent should.
Texas A&M - Lost, #19 California
--- Crapped the big one.
Texas Tech - Won, Minnesota
--- A pretty close match up in terms of talent led to the greatest early bowl game their was.
3-5 is bad, but doesn't say it all. A better way to look at it is how the Big XII did against the spread. However, the Big XII was just lousy this year against ranked competition all year long - not a single NonCon win over a ranked team all year long if I remember correctly.
