Fiesta Bowl Queen & Court

Hello ladies!

I just read that one of the Fiesta Bowl princesses is a Theta from University of Arizona and I thought I would share. Being named a princess is actually a pretty big deal. I've been told that hundreds of college women apply for Fiesta Bowl queen and court and they only select 1 queen and 3 princesses. So that is pretty cool!

Here is her little bio from the official website:

Allie Gilliland, 20, is a junior at the University of Arizona double-majoring in journalism and sociology. A former Miss Arizona Teen USA, Allie is a women’s health advocate, a member of the Blue Chip Leadership Program and of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority where she serves as vice president. She is also a court appointed special advocate and a motivational speaker. Allie resides in Tucson, but is originally from Glendale, Arizona, where she attended Mountain Ridge High School.

I just saw her on the news and she was so cute. When the reporter asked the ladies to show the tv viewers their waves for the parade, Allie started waving both of her hands (while the others were waving one hand in a pageanty way). She was so adorable

Anyways, just wanted to share!
