Calibaby the advice I have for finding a proctor is going to your local high school. That's what I did and it seemed to work out pretty well.
I loved the online classes I've had. The haven't been too tough but a few have had a lot of reading and I had to make sure I kept doing it, it's easy to slack when there is no lecture to go to and you just have a list of dates when things need to be done by.
