Jennifer did a GREAT job. Her rendition of AIATY... was GREAT. She brought tears to my eyes as well. I have the soundtrack, but to SEE it in the movie was PHENOMINAL.
Everyone did a great job. Beyonce's performance was good. However, JENNIFER was THE STAR. SHE should have been nominated for Best Actress, regardless if she is a rookie in the industry.
I saw the film in Houston. When Beyonce sang "Listen", all you could hear were *crickets* and *silence*. I was surprised, since it was her hometown.
However, when Jennifer finished "And I ..." folks were applauding and standing to their feet.
I'm interested in seeing what the numbers were. When we arrived at the theater, there was a long ___ line. We puchased our tickets in advance, so we thought we would not have a problem getting into the theater. NOT! I had to use tactics l acquired for RC and Boule to save seats for the fam. LOL
Good movie! Great entertainment! This will become a part of my DVD collection.
