All I Have to Say Is.... Dreamgirls
I saw Dreamgirls yesterday. And all I have to say is two words. JENNIFER HUDSON. From the moment she walked on the scene she was the star. She tore the hell out of "And I Am Telling You". When she sang it, you believed she was in pain (okay so my drama training is coming out). She sang it just as good as Jennifer Holiday. I saw the musical/play which was exceptionally good as well. My former Howard University drama classmate Gary E. Vincent played C.C. So I was looking forward to seeing th film.
The entire cast was great. Beyonce was okay, but to be honest, you really didn't pay too much attention to her. Jennifer was DA BOMB. Jamie Foxx made me hate him. He keeps getting better and better. Eddie Murphy was entertaining as always. I'm going to see it again with my cousin tomorrow.
Okay so why did I pull out my "Dreamgirls" CD from the musical and play it last night. Somebody pray for me. LOL.
