Phi Beta doesn't really have a mascot, we use the rose to represent us, and have a few secret symbols that are equally exciting. Our newest chapter started out with a local mascot, the alligator.
Last year another chapter voted on the penguin as their local mascot. (I hear it was down to the penguin or the giraffe.. what a combination! I had been rooting for the turtle, as it's my old chapter & I love turtles
)
I think it's a cute idea, and gives your chapter another way to show their pride.
