I guess I'm the only one on her side.
It seems ironic that in a society (at least my opinion) that preaches "second chances" and giving them to people, that we are all so quick to judge and say that Tara didn't deserve a second chance.
I mean this is something (second chances) that you start teaching children at a young age. As a teacher I do it all the time, encouraging my kids to give each other a second chance when they have had a disagreement (a 6-7 year old disagreement). Giving people second chances shouldn't just stop the moment you turn 18.
Now it's not to say that given this second chance she still pulls this type of behavior, yeah, yank the crown.
I'm sorry, NYC is a completely overwhelming city. She is from a podunk town from KY, probably a very small population. Going from a town with a population of let's say 10,000 to a city with a population of 6 million is going to overwhelm anyone. NYC is like LV, a city that doesn't sleep. We see all the time with hollywood stars going to clubs there at all hours of the night. And most of them are underage and drinking. (And I'm not advocating either behaviors, underage drinking no matter who you are is still breaking the law).
I'm not saying what she did was right by any means, but I do understand how she could get completely caught up in the NYC nightlife.
And as for what someone said about publicity stunt, honestly it wouldn't surprise me because all the pageants in the US have had their ratings drop significantly.
Anyways, just my opinion. Agree or disagree.
