I'd rephrase this as
* you may only join ONE of each specific type of professional/honorary GLO.
So you can join both the French Honorary and the Drama Honorary.
And while the fraternity may have agreed to something goofy when it joined the Professional Fraternity Association a couple of years ago, I don't think so. (
