In past editions, I think the last one published before 1991 was in 1977, there was a listing of every known active and extinct local fraternity, sorority and society. I am not sure of the reason for this except maybe to cut down on the production costs. I think that this missing information is a lost resource.

It's a great resource (even though it's getting old ). I wonder how the NIC's control will help/hinder the next edition(s)?
