Exactly, I am currently our High Kappa and tests are strictly forbidden.
If you want to test the knowledge of your Brothers you must administer
the test chapter wide, and it must be anonymous.
Another thing, which is likely broken in many Zetas, is separation. We
can't do anything to our AMs that puts them beneath Actives (or puts
the Actives above the AMs). So having the AMs do tasks like scavenger
hunts and the like is a strict no-no.
I have seen IHQ become a little more lax on what can and can't be done
over the past few years. This is not to say that we are beginning to allow
hazing, or look the other way! They are just opening their minds to some
things that can be done that could be beneficial for a group of Associate
Members that doesn't directly involve Active Brothers. At GA last summer
in Orlando, Tim Reuter really harped on "Demanding not demeaning," and
I think if every chapter takes that to heart, problems would decrease by
a ton...
