I saw an interview with DC and their mother with Ananda on MTV after Farrah first left the group. Tina Knowles said she puts Michelle in pants and short shirts to show off her abs. She dresses Kelly in shorts because she has great legs. I don't remember why Beyonce is always in a skirt, but she had a reason.
I've also noticed the "order" the girls are always in as well.
