i was extremley shocked when I heard about this...I didn't even know she was sick.
I do know firsthand how hard she fought for the Eta Theta chapter, and I can't begin to think about my pledge period and my time in that chapter without thinking of her. She was always pushing us to uphold a high standard for ourselves and the chapters current success is a direct result of that. She also made herself completley available to us whenever we had an issue or a problem, and helped me personally many times.
I searched through my old A Phi pics and found one that Courtney is in (I've deleted a lot over the years). For those who didn't know her, she is standing on the very left side in the pic. I'm in there somewhere but its pretty embarassing. I think my hair is crimped and it was definatley not the 80's anymore.
