Lots of good places here, if you don't mind being hit on by 21 year-old midshipmen. (of course, most of you ladies are around that age so maybe you WOULDN'T mind! But I'm old so I just want to say "hey, don't you have a mom???" but anyhoo.....)

There are a few places my girlfriends and I hit on our "girls night out". Griffin's, Armadillo's and Riordan's are lots of fun and have good food, too. All right near the City Dock and within walking distance of each other. Armadillo's also has live music; usually the bands are pretty good. A little further outside of town is Surfside 7, which reminds me of a beach bar. It's right on the South River and people can just pull up in their boats and dock there. Actually, there are a lot of bar/restaurants like that around here. Another interesting place is Cancun Cantina. It's a huge club with country/western music on one side and regular dance music on the other side. A couple of times a month they actually have live bullriding. Lots of mullets and muscle shirts though, which can be a drawback.

That's all I can think of right now, I don't get out all that often!
