It's not a matter of them not understaning, it is a matter of them knowing the harm that it could bring to the fraternity as a whole. Hopefully, someday you will get to that place, too.

I agree. I came through graduate chapter, and I hope the work I perform speaks highly for my character. I don’t think all graduate members are seeking to undermine undergraduates or have forgotten being undergraduates. I believe as we get older we start to gain a more established prospective on how the world operates, we begin to look at our organizations not just a sorority or fraternity but as a thriving business, then become a member willing to do what it takes to grow that business. Handing out thousands and millions of dollars for avoidable incidents doesn’t benefit the members or the organization and alienating people on the actions of a few is never a good practice.
