I wanted to go see the Dixie Chicks in Memphis, but they cancelled and now the closest that they will play is Nashville. That sucks.

The fact that she spoke out against Bush and "apologized" for America's actions while in Europe was a pretty big deal. I think if she would have done it in the US it would have been slightly less criticized. Texans also didn't appreciate the fact that she said she was embarassed to be from Texas because George Bush is from there.
