i thought you brought up a good point on the alumni boards and i wanted to put it on the tke board. you asked if it was better to donate money or time.
i think donating both is pretty swell. i've found that most alumni that donate their time also donate money. the one's that donate money only are usually guys who live too far away to stay involved physically.
also, another interesting point was raised about how to donate. if anyone wants to donate money to the chapter and also wants that donation to be tax deductible, your chapter can set up a scholarship fund through the TEF. the money can not only be used for a scholarship for undergrads, but can be used to offset education costs, like sending fraters to RLC and leadership academy.
