It may have been edgy then (forgive me for getting the date wrong, obviosusly I wasn't around then and I didn't look this up online before posting, I should know around here to always triple check facts before I say anything) but I was basing my opinion off the Alan Cumming version and having seen him (and spoken with him) several times I knew the part was beyond edgy, it was just plain raunchy. My best friend refers Alan C. as Sex on a Stick in this role.
