no. 1 don't worry...you are brand new and those walking in the door have to have a notion of that. chocolate covered strawberries come later.
no 2 go shopping a bit and get some prices. fairly simple t-shirts can be had for a decent price. i know they aren't a-line, but again you are starting.
no. 3 be honest with those who you talk with. let them know they are starting a great adventure that for a while might include champagne living on a beer budget.
