Agreed.
There are flaws in every theory. Marxist conflict theory and theory of capitalism is criticized for a few things, including ignoring the roles or gender and race and predicting a worker revolt against capitalism that never quite happened. But that hasn't stopped Marxist conflict theory from being one of the main conflict theories discussed and his perspective on capitalism from still being used in class analysis, as well as Neo-Marxian and Marxist feminist theories. I know of a few theorists who are taking Marx to a whole new level and applying it to the 21st century. Kind of cool.
