When I re-read my post I don't see that anywhere, but maybe you can just see more through your little rose colored glasses. I also did not call you racist, you did that to yourself. I don't know you well enough to make that judgement.

The subject is not history, it's current events. I know you probably don't give a damn, but your frat house is going to cause alot of problems for alot of people. If it was your family, I'm sure you would want someone to consider the way they feel about.
First, I am not a KA, rather an SAE...I also go to The University of Texas, not Georgia. However, I am very familiar with the area and know several members of the fraternity, as well as others on campus. How do you know it is going to cause a lot of problems, nothing has happened yet?? Furthermore, those people not being able to fix up their run down houses doesn't have anything to do with the KA house....unless you are suggesting that all of the residents are going to want to move after the fraternity house is completed. That is those people's problem, not the fraternity. My family and extended family are all Greek and all rushed very prominant, Southern fraternities and sororities, they have been around greek houses practically forever. If we lived in a neighborood close to campus, they wouldn't have a problem if a beautiful, Southern style mansion was built close to their house......there are plenty of campuses that have fraternity and sorority houses amongst normal residents.

Sorry, I didn't take "Southern Revisionist History" courses. My research of the subject went a little further beyond reading a couple of books and taking courses on my own campus. I was far more concerned with actually knowing the facts, rather than accepting anyone's personal biases on the subject. You stated something along the lines of, "I don't find treason against the US, losing a war, and the glorification of oppression something to be proud of." This shows an extremely limited knowledge of the war and basically echoes the thoughts of those who think the war was fought over slavery. But, if you think you can "school" either me or Shinerbock on our own history...i'd love to see you try.

I realize you didn't call me a racist...but you certainly made dumb statements about KA being notoriously racist and having "racist aspects". I was just playing off of your own words.
