Any events where an establishment is rented must be closed events...and the bars aren't too jazzed about losing business for a night to a group where the majority can't drink anything but pop and water.
I just now noticed that arch is from Pittsburgh. That makes sense. I heard the nightlife isn't the most fun in the country. Even if a place wasn't doing well, I could see an establishment taking a huge cut of the next year's profits if an event was a success. It hurts consistency. That's unfortunate.
