4 - Embrionic stem cell research to date has not been productive. There are studies showing hundreds of diseases may soon benefit from adult and existing stem cell research - BUT NONE showing any disease benefiting from the embrionic studies. NONE. Just a hope.

5 - A favorite liberal tactics is to throw out some so-called "victims" as a spokesman, and trying to make them immune to criticism and infallible. The 9-11 widows, Cindy Sheehan, and Fox are recent examples. They try to make any response to these "victim spokesmen" into attacks on the poor victims, and I doubt if the conservatives and alternative media (talk radio, internet, etc.) will let it happen.

6 - The liberals don't want to debate the topic - they just want to attack Limbaugh and other conservative spokesmen

I urge you all to vote, if you are educated, read newspapers, and watch TV news. If you get your news from John Stewart, please stay home.
1. Stem cell research should be federally funded, hence the campaign. Religion has no place in politics and that's what's holding progress back.

2. No, embyronic research hasn't been productive. But the polio vaccine took two decades to develop and no one thought it would ever happen. We are just starting in this field, medical research takes time. Shocking, I know.

3. A favourite tactic of conversatives is to accuse people who dare disagree with them of being unpatriotic and hating America. Don't act like conservatives are a 'lie-beral' scapegoat here. It goes both ways.

4. Limbaugh isn't a conservative spokesman. He's a blundering idiotic drug addict, with no college degree and a background in sportscasting. Yes, it sounds like he's really qualified to be a spokesman for conservatives, what with his vast experience in the political arena. Talking heads deserve what they get. He doesn't deserve the respect a debate would bring to the table.

So if you watch Fox News, you're allowed to vote. If you think Jon Stewart might possibly make a point, then stay home, you're too liberal and dumb.

NOTE: I am not generalizing and I don't think all conservatives are bad. Some of you guys are rational, educated and pretty much rock. It's the douchebags that appear as the public face that give conservatives a bad name and that makes me sad. As sad as the thought of Hilary Clinton running for president...
