It depends on your individual circumstances and what your objectives are. If it interests you sufficiently and you are prepared to put in the work, then go for it. I don't believe education is ever a waste of time, but I must admit that I don't understand why you would put off getting your MBA. Surely, you could make money
while pursuing the degree you really want.
