None of this stuff is 100%. There are BGLO members who say USED (and there are even more whose actions aren't reflective of a lifetime commitment). The difference is that it appears to be more of a crime against humanity when BGLO members don't live out their lifetime commitment.  |
If members of BGLOs say "used to", it's because they are usually taking a permanent hiatus from the organization and no longer wish to be affiliated. It should be a crime to join a BGLO and then become completely inactive once you graduate. The work of the organization is not completed just because you graduated and honestly the alumni and alumnae chapters work their butts off for the community. So why not affiliate with one?
