He had her rehearse and record it. He begged her to do it, so imagine her surprise when she heard the song being sung by the Queen of Soul. This song went on to become a big hit for the Queen and the female singer never forgot that. She has done projects with the musical genius over the years, but she has never forgotten how he used her and broke his promise.
