My favorite way of teaching fact like that is through a rousing game of Jeopardy!!! Use regular paper, put amounts on them, and write the questions pertaining to the history on the back. Whoever gets the most, wins the game! I don't know, we had fun doing this when I was a "set leader," or someone who helps new members become sisters.
