That patellar tilt had caused all my hamstring tendons to go into permanent spasm. I can't even go into how painful that was. Think of having pain at a 10 every single day, and you can't sit, stand, lie down, put any pressure on the back of your leg for any length of time.
For you, I'd go see an orthopedist. Does your knee feel unstable, ever give out, lock up? It might be an ACL or meniscal problem. I've also had problems with my MCL but I think those were all entirely related to the fact that my entire knee structure sucked to begin with. Sorry for the long answer. I'm a medical nerd :P

Yeah the orthopedist told me it was just that inflamed patella thing, but I'm thinking differently since the kneecap on my left knee feels way diff than the right one. My knees used to lock when I was younger if I had them bent for a long time... it was scary and was the worst pain ever, so I've learned to constantly unbend my knees and never sit on them. And they always feel unstable.
