There are TONS of girls who may want to join an organization that is new. I was talking with my daughter last night about her "current" impressions of the houses. She has also been approached by some Senior girls who came for Tiger Day-tour and information/fact finding/parties. Many of them asked about
attire (this was a BIG interest) meetings and of course mixers. Some girls just don't like the idea of dressing up in heels for meetings and such, some need more flexable schedules. Some don't like the reputations that "stick" for years and years. When she told them about DG, and how they were more relaxed than some of the others, that seemed to spark their interest. Many of the girls who were cut or dropped out are now members of BSU-Baptist Student Union. They have found their fellowship through their faith. Your new organization can meet a similar need...and there is a need. YOU HAVE THE CLAY TO SHAPE THIS ORGANIZATION. In several older threads about locals and struggling sorrities, one theme from the more experienced people on GC came through LOUD and CLEAR. You MUST be "picky". Don't go for sheer numbers. Go for the girls who will be positive for your org. It's hard to ferret out such people, but they are out there.

What is your next step----That's way beyond my knowledge. I'm sure others will jump in when they see you have touched base!
