Last year at my school the groups paired up for Homecoming. If I remember correctly some groups just naturally paired up with each other. I would choose a group that your fraternity likes to hang out with, it'll make Homecoming events fun. It would suck to have to do a lot with a group that you guys don't have much in common with.
I would suggest to ask a few girls (girls that you know and would call friends) from that sorority, what they think of the idea and go by that reaction. In fact, if some of your brothers are dating girls from that sorority I would go that route in having them test the waters. If they are negative about it but your heart is set on doing stuff with this sorority than I would still go the meeting. It might be easier to start spreading the word in advance about pairing up with them, that way sisters have time to think about it. Also, I would have a couple ideas of Homecoming activities that you were thinking of doing, that way the sorority would know you were serious about participating.
Either way, Homecoming is a great time of year for Greeks and any group you pair up with I'm sure will be fine.
