In any case, Berkeley (while prestigious) is in a bit of a freaky neighborhood. I feel a lil' nervous when I was there, walking from the BART to the campus.
When I'm away from school I live and grew up about 10 minutes from the Berkeley campus, and I have to sa thats far from true.
