People who can't pronounce my first name (i have a fairly common last name, but this old family first name...no wonder my great-aunt, who was a very cool lady from what I understand, went by her middle name).
people (mostly senior citizens) who come up to me at the reference desk and ask me for health books and THEN proceed to tell me about all their health problems. I have to stop them. I get grossed out so easily I can't even watch ER.

toothpicks and suckers when they're hanging out of the mouths of people I have to talk to.
people who ignore me at my ref desk...I know I look about 19, but I DID go to grad school, I'm not sitting here because I look pretty.
