I married a nice guy and I used to date a whole bunch a thugs.

The reasons why: because at least I'd expect the thug to do me wrong. Maybe 'cuz of poor self-esteem on my part, maybe because I thought I was less deserving. Whatever the reasons. The fact that I wasted my time and psyche with fools who cared less about me.

But then, there's this thing about "God's time". Well, I wasn't on His time and I had to wait. I tried to force it, but it never worked or it worked for the worst.

Then, I had a "paradigm shift", short of a "revelation" from God. And that's when I met my now husband...

So, I think you've got to give some time to growing up and experiencing life before you "settle down" with someone you make your spouse. Slow down, homey...

Also, the flip side of your question:

Why is it that bruhs only like fake heifered strippers with no clothes on and 10 inch hells. That have 5 kids from 7 different baby's daddies. Living in the bottom with no direction in life but ho'ing?

And don't say she lookeded real good up in the club after a few drinks...
