It goes back a long time ago. I still dredge this old thread up when I have had enough of the lunacy.

Ladies men?

Basically what I am saying is these Chi Phi pledges, have no "charisma" with the ladies. If they did have "charisma", they would us images from "Playboy".

I think they were asked to humiliate themselves by showing pornographic images of certain kinds of women. I find that rather pathetic to uplift a manhood.

But then, what would have the school done if these same pledges showed porn pictures from a "Black Beefcake"-type magazine? Or a pre-opt transsexual porn magazine?

See the issue is these hazing acts could get worse and worse.

The other issue is that Black women generally are dehumanized from any erotica. You RARELY observe Black women as the main character in a romantic movie. The number of Black woman characters in these types of movies can be counted on my hands. Then of those movies, mostly all Black women fail to be of dark complexion. They are of lighter complexion and usually able to pass for caucasian.

So what does that do to the self-esteem of young Black girls growing up? The "cute" girls have hair attachments of long straight blonded hair, when most of OUR hair is "nappy" and "Afros"...

So the fact that these young Chi Phi pledges were told to show pornographic pictures of nude Black women from a smut magazine in order to join this particular IFC fraternity, is well in my book, about these little boys not having the "balls" enough to stand up for what they think is right and true. Then falling under pressure to fit in.

Where is the greater philathropy here? Is this what Chi Phi about?

And if history is any teacher, it is only a matter of time when the next group of pledges will start to dehumanize other women...
