You can collect stuffed lions at Target and present them as gifts for her room and buy letter shirts at the local Greek store near the campus more cheaply.
Also, get in touch with her Diamond Sister and arrange to send along a letter for her to read during initiation or a gift to open from you afterward. She'll be touched that you coordinated the effort.

Target and Walmart are wonderful places to find lions. OMG I have found oodles from these two stores.
